YooPune by Phillipe Starck’ residential project in India launches in Pune.

It is being developed by Panchshil Realty. Yoopune offers 216 unique ‘yoo inspired by Starck’ designed homes spread over six towers.

It provides residents with surroundings akin to a five star resort, the exclusive amenities include a famous Six Senses Spa, swimming pools, yoga centre, basketball and tennis courts, a tea lounge and cigar room and recreation areas for children and families.
Scheduled for completion in 2014, the homes will offer a selection of the best European designed fixtures and finishes, including Italian marble, and Poggenpohl kitchens with Siemens appliances.
Set across 17 acres of 100 year old rainforest, YooPune is located at Koregaon Park Annex. Award winning international landscape architect, Bill Bensley is responsible for landscaping of the surrounds, creating yoopune as a sanctuary in the heart of the city.

One wall is lined up with suspended ornate mirrors which can be bought from Good Earth. The chandelier is a stunning piece from Andromeda Murano. The cutlery is from Robbe and Berking. The beautiful table has been created using Rilievo Marble. Louis the XV chairs are covered with faux fur which adds a randomness to the otherwise identical chairs in design. What I love is how the chairs at the head of the table are different.
Mezzadoras Stool by Achille Castiglioni and Pier Giacoma Castiglioni for Zanotta is by the desk. The Miss Lacy Chair (see also below) by Phillipe Starck in silver. The classic Paltrano Frau 1919 Armchair absorbs you inside it. You may never want to get up. A Driade compliments the desk perfectly.
The iconic chair chair by Fornasetti is placed by the mini desk. The printed wallpaper by Graham & Brown defines the room.
How we love the photo frame wallpaper by Graham & Brown. The splashes of yellow light up the space.
Duravit’s Starck 1 Range sits on the counter. All the ceramics have been used from Duravit. The Statuario Marble has been cut in smaller sizes to add more figures.
Here we see the Statuario Marble is used at length. The turbans on the wall are from a local shop. Its adds the Indian touch to the space.
