The massive Economic Times ACETech Exhibition and Index Exhibition recently came to an end, 18th – 21st October 2012. Surprisingly this year the dates of both the exhibitions clashed. Leaving regulars to both, confused which one to go for. We know how tiring it is to go through even one of these. Bracing ourselves we somehow managed to cover both over the 4 day extravaganza.
First off is ACETech. The larger one in size between the two. When we enter we see a greened, what seems to be an Eiffel Tower inspired installation. What we fail to understand is why there were ducks, geese and rabbits running around under. Sigh, wish we had the story to that.
Moving on from this, we would like to showcase the following three interesting companies that caught our eye.
1. Auxiliaries India launched Waterproof Art Panels by Alex Turco. These ‘Luxury Wall Surfaces’ are artistic and innovative wall coverings which can be adapted to any environment. So go ahead and use them in all those scary areas where moisture or water pervades. Shower Cubiles, Spas, Pools, anywhere! Sachin Verma of Auxiliaries India, tells us that, “they are great for public spaces where your worried the large number of people will ruin your artwork.” The waterproof Art Panels are handmade by Alex Turco himself, on aluminium panels with techniques based on the use of acrylic colors & resin along with natural elements like crystals, stones, semi precious mineral, metal pigments etc..
Available in 7 amazing themes. Our favourite is the Woman Tribute Collection. Available in a Gloss or Matt finish. A Flat Art Panel is priced at Rs 7,500 per sq.ft & a Textured Art Panel at Rs 8,500 per sq.ft. Created specially for large scale architectural & interior projects, the art panels can be customised in size and are curve-bendable. Custom Designing is also possible so go ahead and be creative!
