London Design Festival returns from September 12 to 20, 2026, marking its 24th edition as a defining moment on the global design calendar. Founded in 2003 by Sir John Sorrell CBE and Ben Evans CBE, the Festival was created to position London as a leading design capital—a vision that remains central more than two decades on.

Each year, the Festival brings together designers, thinkers, brands, institutions, and educators from around the world through a city-wide programme of exhibitions, installations, and events. With a record 600,000 visitors from over 75 countries in 2019, London Design Festival continues to play a pivotal role in strengthening the design industry while reinforcing London’s status as a global centre for creativity, culture, and commerce. The 2026 edition invites partners and participants to share their stories with international audiences, reaffirming the Festival’s role as both a platform for innovation and a blueprint for design festivals worldwide.
