Maximizing the Minimal – Tao Art Gallery
Though the name ‘Maximizing the Minimal’ may seem like a contradiction in itself, this show intends to illustrate the idea of minimalizing the irrelevant and as a consequence, maximizing the important. Held at the Tao Art Gallery, it features a varied mix of 18 Indian artists including Ravi Mandlik, Dashrath Patel and Sohan Qadri. The show highlights the artists’ distinctive interpretations of the minimalism movement – exposing the audience to Indian art that is abstract, unconventional and contemporary.
