Klove Studio headed by Prateek Jain and Gautam Seth have redefined lighting. Inspired by Indian jewellery and Indian motifs. Though it is combined with modern elements. The duo essentially love working with blown glass. But you will also see material like steel, brass and wrought iron being used.
Gone are the traditional chandelier days. Bring glamour into the space with lighting. A statement piece is a must.
They named their brand Klove, because just like the spice, their collections are therapeutic with an edge.
The price ranges from Rs 45,000 and goes upto Rs7,00,000. Customisation is possible to fit a clients budget.
The Ashoka Light below has been created using stainless steel and blown glass drops. The solid green adds a lovely pop of colour. You can change the drop colours to match your color scheme. The light streams thorugh the cutwork to give you a shadow of the design. This piece would fit perfectly over a rectangular or square dining table.
The Bodhla piece is created out of beaten brass and blown glass. It can also be made in stainless steel.
This reminds me of cricket season balls in a vessel! Sigh, that was not their inspiration.
The Surahi Installation was inspired by a long heavy necklace. Made in handblown glass.
The Fakhtai Jhumka. The name tells you the inspiration. The blue section has gold lined inside to increase illumination. Made out of beaten brass and blown glass. Great for the center of a living room!
The Stalactite Chandelier. This was my favourite piece sheerly by how unique it is. Placing this in the right area is key. I would recommend this for a bar or lounge.
The lotus inspired diyas make a great Diwali present. These table top accessories sizes start at 8 inches and can go up to 5 feet. The price for these start at Rs 2,600 per diya.
The Polki Light. One of the longest blown glass pieces in the entire collection. Created out of blown glass, MS Wire and Brass.
Retailing out of Delhi, Mumbai & Kolkatta. Their flagship store below at Green Park, Delhi. See how the pieces look lit up and check out their new collections!
