Art Basel Hong Kong 2026 returns to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) from March 27th to 29th, 2026. The fair will bring together 240 leading galleries from 41 countries and territories, reaffirming its position as a global platform deeply rooted in the Asia-Pacific region.

For 2026, a dedicated sector title ‘Echoes’ spotlights works created within the past five years, through focused presentations by up to three artists. Encounters, the fair’s sector for large-scale installations and performances, will be curated for the first time by a collective of four Asia-based curators led by Mami Kataoka, alongside Isabella Tam, Alia Swastika, and Hirokazu Tokuyama. The city-wide Public Program returns with free Film screenings and Conversations, including a Film Program curated by pioneering media artist Ellen Pau and a day of talks guest-curated by Venus Lau, Director of Museum MACAN, Jakarta. Extending beyond the fairgrounds, Art Basel and M+ will co-commission a major public artwork for the M+ Facade, presented by UBS, with Shahzia Sikander’s 3 to 12 Nautical Miles transforming the museum’s exterior into a luminous meditation on global exchange and history.
