Brand identity today is about crafting a presence that stays with audiences—emotionally and culturally—long after the first encounter. In this realm of thoughtful storytelling, DP Agency—a creative communications studio shapes meaningful narratives for luxury brands across architecture, decor and lifestyle with an eye for design and a profound understanding of cultural nuance. It builds on Design Pataki’s eminent legacy of bespoke storytelling across art, architecture, and lifestyle, translating brand ethos into compelling visual and verbal language to create narratives that resonate, endure, and inspire.
Decoding DP Agency
DP Agency—an extension of Design Pataki—is a trailblazing luxury design and communications consultancy bridging the gap between content creation and brand positioning to craft compelling narratives within the realm of architecture, lifestyle, and refined living. Envisioned by Esha Gupta, it conjures enduring impressions of brands through a repertoire of evocative short films, collectable coffee table books, and finely crafted narrative artefacts. “Crafting bespoke content tailored to the discerning tastes of luxury brands in the décor, architecture and lifestyle sphere is not just a skill, it’s an art form. Every word, image and story is meticulously woven to embody refined living,” remarks Gupta, Founder of DP Agency.
From crafting the story of a home through a video series to spotlighting indigenous artists with a deep understanding of their aesthetics, DP Agency’s process echoes both cultural nuances and visual brilliance. With a focus on conscious storytelling, it mirrors Design Pataki’s editorial style and an intuitive understanding of the design world to create visual and verbal brand legacies.

The Evolution Behind DP Agency
To comprehend the essence of DP Agency, one requires a journey back to its point of origin, where the vision, voice, and intent were first conceptualised. It leads back to Design Pataki—helmed by Esha Gupta in 2013, which advocated for design journalism, as one of India’s foremost digital voices in art, design, architecture and lifestyle. With an awareness of the cultural pulse, this platform translates the nuances of design, art, and architecture into an engaging narrative. Enter, DP Agency, a vertical that emerges as the definitive remedy to luxury brands yearning for a profound narrative imbued with intention and depth.

Why DP Agency
With an established editorial style, DP Agency bridges the crucial gap in the luxury design space with an eccentric belief—one that champions a brand’s narrative with a distinct style. As a platform shaped by a decade of telling culturally attuned design stories, we have discerned what resonates, with a deeper cadence of why a certain brand endures. Posing as an ingenious platform for brands navigating the complex worlds of architecture, interiors, art, and lifestyle, we are a creative studio that distils insights, aesthetics, and emotion into brand stories. In keeping with this approach, we collaborate closely with brands to shape stories that reflect both cultural fluency and aesthetic clarity.
The Art Of Visual Storytelling
With a deep penchant for narrative-led design interventions, our body of work unfolds as a rich tapestry, spanning brand campaigns, editorial video series, immersive booklets, and internal brand-building tools. For instance, ‘The Home Project’ for Birla Opus culminated as a 10-part editorial video series that framed homes as emotive, lived-in spaces. For this project, we chronicled spaces through the lens of craftsmanship using sensorial cues, spatial memory, and materiality to evoke a deeper connection. This approach beautifully aligned with the brand’s positioning, offering its patrons an immersive glimpse into each home as a lived and sensorial space.
While ‘Spectacular Spaces’ for Lodha features India’s most eminent designers through cinematic vignettes, underscoring the intricacies of designing a space. Through a combination of scripting and interviews, our video series brings each space to life, capturing how it breathes, functions, and resonates. Complementing this, we created a curated set of editorial pieces for Lodha that provided expert guidance on styling and decorating, reinforcing the design agency’s role as both a cultural interpreter and a creative catalyst.

As part of its more contemplative collection, ‘Cuisines of India’ for Kone reimagines nostalgia in print—an intricately crafted guide that blends culinary heritage with contemporary visuals. Crafted for an evening steeped in opulence and tradition, this pocket guide with a gold-embossed cover and jewel-toned pages paid tribute to the country’s rich culinary heritage. Having led the creative direction, cover design, and layout, each detail was shaped to echo KONE’s ethos. Renowned for its trailblazing approach, we partnered with Asian Paints to go beyond visuals and lead a hands-on workshop for over 150 design consultants. The focus was on equipping them with the skills to craft contextual luxury brand stories, where authenticity is rooted in cultural nuance and brought to life through compelling, masterful narratives.
Building on this ethos of thoughtful storytelling, DP Agency also turns its gaze inward to the creative forces shaping culture today. To spotlight emerging and established voices, we launched ‘The Artist,’ a curated vertical shaped by the acclaimed legacy of Design Pataki. This curatorial narrative represents a diverse collective of artists across various mediums through strategic collaborations and curated partnerships. Among the many creative voices we’ve engaged with are ceramic artist Rekha Goyal, mixed-media artist Tanvi Kulshreshtha, and textile artist Sabiha Dohadwala.
In The Saturated Contemporary Landscape
In today’s hyper-visual, chronically online landscape, where substance saturation is the convention, this design agency navigates with a rare balance between craft and cultural narratives. As we continue to grow, our goal is to further develop immersive content formats—whether through collectable print, events, or curated digital modules that transform how design stories are told. For brands looking to shape a deeper, long-term connection with their audience, DP Agency is your creative partner in design-led storytelling.
