The 15th edition of Frieze New York will take place from May 13 to 17, 2026, at The Shed, continuing its position as a leading platform for contemporary art. Directed by Christine Messineo, who also oversees Frieze Los Angeles, the fair brings together the world’s foremost galleries to present ambitious solo, group, and thematic projects, offering audiences the chance to encounter both emerging talent and some of art history’s most significant figures.

Approximately 70 galleries will participate, alongside collaborations with nonprofit organisations and a programme of performance-led initiatives. The Galleries section will feature solo, dual, and group presentations by international artists represented by galleries with established exhibition programs. The Focus section, curated for the third consecutive year by Lumi Tan, is dedicated to solo presentations by young galleries formed in or after 2014, benefiting from a subsidised rate to encourage innovative proposals.
