Abin Chaudhuri founded Abin Design Studio, which is exploring the ‘unknown’ journey, experimentation with materials and technology, and the engaging art and culture, aiming to provide a ‘soul in the shell’. The studio is a multidisciplinary practice with a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from large scale public buildings to niche villa projects, each carrying our hallmark of creativity, innovation and experimentation. It also strives to introduce inclusive design through exploration opportunities and an open design dialogue in the public realm through installations, urban acupuncture and pro bono practice. The studio is also the recipient of several national and international accolades focusing on the idea of holistic design, not just limiting to ideas, but also physical manifestation through multi-disciplinary collaboration.

Experience of 7 + years with a B. Arch degree. The specific responsibilities of the position holder will be the following:

• Strong accomplishment in design, research and detailing
• Preparation of presentations, concept drawings and design, construction drawings and working drawings for site execution
• Design coordination with team members and client
• Design and site coordination with vendors and contractors for timely execution of work
• Good communication and management skills
• Detailed knowledge of BOQ and costings
• Required visits for referencing and sourcing
• Good software skills – 2D/3D
