Design Milestone returns with its third edition from December 11–13, 2026 at Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan, Kolkata, bigger in scale, sharper in programming and with more to experience beyond the exhibition floor. East India’s luxury design show brings architecture, interiors, art, craft and contemporary design together, while creating room for conversations the Indian design industry has often postponed or simply not found the right platform to discuss.

A major addition this year is the Design Milestone Marketplace, curated by Baro Market, introduced for the first time. Here, design moves from something to admire to something visitors can actually own. Known for spotting independent makers and objects away from the obvious, Baro Market will bring together an eclectic mix of craft, material and contemporary design. Expect flowers fashioned from Bengal’s delicate Jamdani, hand-bent rattan, tufted wool, ceramics and collectible objects from labels visitors may discover for the first time. This is not the conventional exhibition shop lined with predictable products. The pleasure lies in discovery: see something unexpected, fall for it and take it home.
