Amangati, The First Ultra-Luxury Yacht Of Aman Is Set to Sail In The Spring of 2027

Aman’s philosophy finds a new expression at sea, Amangati, the brand’s first superyacht, offering extraordinary ocean journeys and access to routes and experiences reserved for a rarefied circle of travellers.

Imagine waking in a suite cocooned on the private deck of a yacht, an expansive living and dining space unfolding around you, complete with a personal bar, a table designed to host up to twelve guests, and a private lift to navigate the deck floors. Step outdoors onto a generous teak terrace, where alfresco dining, sun loungers, and a private whirlpool bath open to uninterrupted views of the sea. Each morning brings a quiet thrill: draw back the curtains to discover a horizon entirely different from the one you watched at sunset the night before. From mooring at famed ports along the Costa del Sol and the French Riviera, including rarely accessed harbours such as Beaulieu-sur-Mer, to gliding into the Venetian Lagoon, the journey is a bucket-lister to say the least. Aman, a brand synonymous with quiet luxury, extends this philosophy from land to sea with Amangati, its first superyacht.

Launching in Spring 2027, Amangati is conceived as a sanctuary where indoor and outdoor boundaries dissolve, elevating simplicity into an expression of ultra-bespoke minimalism, defined by balanced proportions, generous spaces, light, and serenity. The journeys will trace iconic coastlines, anchoring in intimate marinas with the same sense of considered elegance that defines the brand ashore. The world is, quite literally, your oyster aboard Aman’s high-seas experience. This feature asks the essential question: Does the buzz around this modern seafaring luxury live up to its promise?

The Design DNA Carries Aman’s Philosophy Of Serene Minimalism.

Unique in its use of space, the design breaks away from the typical ‘wedding-cake’ profile, creating generous spaces for a floating retreat defined by light, flow, and profound stillness. Spanning 600 feet across nine decks, the yacht introduces rare architectural features, including an open space that connects directly to the sea. At its heart, the Selora Marina and Lounge extends an elegant invitation to embark on maritime adventures. The design is the result of a collaboration between Aman and SINOT Yacht Architecture & Design. From the marina, guests can venture out on a curated fleet of water toys, easily accessed via two floating platforms. Back on board, the terraced lounge offers a serene setting for refreshments, framed by uninterrupted ocean views. Drawing on the philosophy of a Japanese garden, the use of organic materials and refined surfaces comes together to create an environment that reflects nature at its most balanced and restorative.

Laid out with just 47 expansive suites, ranging from 68 to 354 square metres, the vessel accommodates only 94 guests, with each suite featuring a private terrace that offers a sense of spatial luxury rarely achieved at sea. The atmosphere on board mirrors Aman’s signature calm and quiet elegance, seamlessly translated to the ocean. Interiors take cues from the refined minimalism of the timber-toned Japanese ryokan, with full-height windows and private terraces throughout, ensuring an abundance of light, openness, and an ever-present connection to the sea.

A space extraordinaire, the private outdoor area is an expansive teak terrace designed for alfresco dining for up to ten guests, complete with sun loungers and a private whirlpool bath offering uninterrupted horizon views. Indoors, a marble-clad bathroom, private en-suite sauna, and dedicated treatment room elevate the experience, delivering an ultra-luxury private wellness unlike any other.

Where Can You Travel With Amangati?

As pioneers of experiential hospitality, guided by a deep respect for the spirit of place, Amangati’s inaugural season unfolds through a series of meticulously curated Mediterranean voyages. Each itinerary traces iconic coastlines and hidden harbours, from the sun-drenched glamour of the Côte d’Azur to the Moorish elegance of southern Spain, and along the sweeping Italian Riviera, connecting Liguria, Tuscany, Corsica, Capri, and the Amalfi Coast in one seamless passage. The itineraries extend to the lesser-travelled Dalmatian Coast, where paths drift through ancient cities, whitewashed villages, and a ribbon of Adriatic isles.

Exclusive to Amangati, select sailings align with cultural milestones such as the Cannes Film Festival and the Monaco Grand Prix, offering rare access to the Mediterranean at its most electric. Throughout, a dedicated suite host anticipates every detail, ensuring service remains intuitive, discreet, and unhurried—allowing each day to unfold at your own pace, in complete privacy.
