This year’s theme, Sense and Sensibility, sharpened its debut edition’s ambition further, shifting the conversation from how a space looks to how it is experienced through texture, acoustics, materiality, and emotional resonance. At The Core, 16 of India’s most acclaimed architecture and design studios each interpreted the theme within 700 sq. ft. of open canvas. Beyond The Core, over 80 brands across surface materials, lighting, furniture, soft furnishings, and hardware demonstrated how their work shapes the way a space is felt. The show also hosted a full programme of panel discussions, roundtables, workshops, and after-hours events that kept the conversation going well past the exhibition floor.

Few presences at the show embodied that conviction as naturally as Essentia Home, this edition’s Lounge Partner, whose space became one of the most talked-about corners of the show floor. Essentia Home curated the lounge as a fully experiential environment, leaning into deep reds, greys, and muted tones with lighting placed intentionally to draw attention to texture and form. Natural materials, stone, fabric, and considered finishes drenched the space, reflecting a design sensibility that the brand has built its identity on.

The lounge drew a steady stream of visitors across the three days, including several dignitaries and prominent voices, including Ridhi Khosla Jalan, Tanmay Bhat, Poonam Mehta, Zaheer Iqbal, and more.

“I’ve always been a big fan, since I was introduced to the brand two years ago. I think they do a great job when it comes to sofas and marble tables, and they’ve always had pieces that are very different, and the aesthetics are unique to Essentia. The quality is always reliable,” shared Ridhi Khosla Jalan.

The brand’s presence at the show extended beyond the show floor. On the second evening of the show, Essentia Home hosted the launch of their new store in Lower Parel, Mumbai. A product of POV Elevate, Design POV’s initiative that extends the platform’s curatorial philosophy to bring brands into the spotlight with curated programming, the launch brought together an intimate gathering of architects and designers from the Design POV community, including Akif Habib, Amrita Thomas, Ali Baldiwala, and Nistas Sanga, among others.
